Installation this way won't allow for automatic updates. It will appear as a video add-on in your skin menu.

However, we recommend using a Ple XBMC compatible skin for complete integration.

The usual array of screens will appear during the installation process.

I lost a WD Red drive (10 months old) recently that had URE issues, and replaced it, allowed a rebuild/repair of RAID 5 (only 3 HDs at the time).

Requirements: As per the Plex website, here are the requirements (once again, specifically for Windows): Windows minimum requirements • Windows XP SP3, Vista, or Windows 7 • Flash and Silverlight video requires Windows Vista or Windows 7 • Direct X 9.0c compatible graphics card • An Intel Core 2 Duo processor or equivalent • At least 2GB of RAM, 4GB recommended For optimal performance and compatibility with Plex Media Manager, we recommend Google Chrome, Safari, Fire Fox, or IE9 with Google Chrome Frame. In order to play Flash and Silverlight video, you will need to install the plug-ins on your computer before running the Plex Media Server.
