Validating game cache steam

I don't think that's the cause of your problem though, I've heard that in FONV there's a lot of things the player can do that we're SUPPOSED to be able to do that just crash the game, and so far there's not much we can do about i know one thing that you have to avoid the thorn setting up monsters/creature matches that is only avoidable by not doing it otherwise you break the quest giver in there.I downloaded & installed Skyrim DG/HF/HD-DLC through Steam and when I try to verify cache, I keep getting an error that 1 file failed to validate.

We also recommend backing up your game saves through the Steam Cloud or onto a flash drive before attempting to fix it.

I doubt this since I did not encounter this in the past, and tested it on another Steam game, which didn't have any invalidated files. I've been looking through some of the Steam FAQs and whatnot, so far haven't found an answer. After the handful of problems it gave me, I finally got skyrim installed and updated. After each verification of files when you access the launcher it will go thru the process of recreating your INI files.

Wherever that bit of data which says the INI files have been set is stored, that is what is most likely getting re-verified.

FONV keeps crashing when I exit a vendor screen with Chet, 2 different saves1) Ran CHKDSK on drive used, no problems2) Used Steams "Verify Integrity of Game Cache" routine, and 4 times in a row, this happened: Started out fine, chugging away to 67% ,took about 1 1/2 minutes, then jumps to 100% with message "FONV keeps crashing when I exit a vendor screen with Chet, 2 different saves1) Ran CHKDSK on drive used, no problems2) Used Steams "Verify Integrity of Game Cache" routine, and 4 times in a row, this happened: Started out fine, chugging away to 67% ,took about 1 1/2 minutes, then jumps to 100% with message "Your most likely looking at 2 issues here:1) Steam Inegrity Game Cache: You can ignor this.

This issue I have on every single steam game I have. Currupt saves, Script issues, Quest issues, Codec issues (Does not like anything other than Microsoft codec), Nvidia Graphics card issues, Windows 7 64 bit issues, etc... While there has been 2 patches - the next one for the PC (Next Week) is suppose to fix Save Game issues, Nvidia issues.....

My Steam wants to validate TF2 at least every other day for some reason, which takes a good 5 to 10 minutes.

Both were free and both download updates incessantly, so I uninstalled them.

Starting from today every time I start it up, it validates the steam cache files. One time I somehow managed to launch it, then my computer crashed because it was running to much stuff and now I can't get back on at all.

It's okay if you can't help, but if you have any experience with this issue, it would be great.

Are you saying that the "Verify.." routine of Steam doesn't work correctly?? new info: checked the Game file : Install is failing file, other 431 ( minus 1??

) files apparently OK per this routine If you run a Verify of FONV do you get same results??

For a few months now, Steam has been validating my files whenever I open it. What exactly is Steam doing when it says that it is validating files, and why does it need to do it so frequently?

As a Muslim single, one of the main expectations you may have from a potential partner is that this special someone must be from your own religion.
